Rationale:
|
|
It is a requirement under Education Code Sections 35035(g), 42130, and 42131 as amended by Assembly Bill (AB) 1200 (Chapter 1213/1991), that school districts prepare and submit interim financial reports twice annually to their Governing Boards. AUSD is submitting the 2023-2024 First Interim Report with a "positive" certification and projects that reserves will meet the minimum 3% for economic uncertainties for the current and two subsequent years, as required by the Los Angeles County Office of Education and the State of California. |
