Rationale:
|
Dalton and Lee Elementary Schools will begin the SEAL Model implementation for grades kindergarten through second grades in 2024-2025. Grades third through fifth will join in 2025-2026. Professional development, curriculum support, and technical assistance will be provided in order to ensure a high-quality education to all English learners and prevent the development of Long-Term English learners. AUSD has worked with SEAL since 2019. |

Budgetary Impact:

The cost, not to exceed $375,000 over three years, will be paid from Supplemental and Concentration funds. |
