Rationale:
|
The District purchases office, classroom material and supplies, equipment, and other related products to support student achievement throughout the course of the school year. The purchasing staff works diligently to ensure there is an adequate number of vendor resources that can meet the needs of school sites and administrative offices when seeking procurement options. Several factors are evaluated in the selection of vendor resources, which include, but are not limited to, cost, quality, availability, participatory fees, billing/payment terms, discounts, and rebates. District staff will ensure that the use of the piggyback contract method is the most viable option when procuring office, classroom material and supplies, equipment, and other related products. Attached is a list that provides various piggyback contracts available to Azusa Unified School District to utilize for such purchases. |
