Rationale:
|
|
Andrea Hess will provide training services for scratch cooked recipe development, work with District Chef and Department employees starting April 2024 to develop and taste test recipes for the 2024-2025 school year. Andrea will also develop professional development and training curriculum with a concentration on proper scratch cooking techniques and food handling, especially raw protein. Training will also create a standardized food presentation process at all school sites. The District is a recipient of Kitchen Infrastructure and Training funds. Part of these funds will be used to provide training to Nutrition Services employees. |
