Rationale:
|
All schools participate in state and federal programs, which may include Title I Part A, Local Control Funding Formula, and Special Education. The SPSA serves as the plan to coordinate all educational services for an individual school’s improvement process. The SPSA includes instructional services aligned with the District’s Local Control and Accountability Plan and the Board of Education goals. As required by Education Code Section 64001, schools receiving Title I Part A funds through the Consolidated Application process must address how the funds will be used to improve the academic performance of all students. School Site Councils have reviewed and recommended SPSAs to be submitted for approval by the Board of Education. All TK-12 schools' SPSAs come to the Board of Education on an annual basis. |
