Rationale:
The AHS Cross Country team will participate in an overnight camp from November 2-3, 2024, at Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park, San Dimas, CA. This camp for 15-24 members aims to enhance personal well-being, foster compassion, and build team pride through various activities. Transportation will be provided, and students will be supervised by the team's coaches. AHS Cross Country team has attended training camps since 2014. The trip requires approval of the Board of Education because it requires overnight accommodations.  
Budgetary Impact:
The cost, not to exceed $840, to be paid from fundraisers.  
Recommendation
It is recommended the Board of Education approve AHS's Cross Country team overnight trip to Frank G. Bonelli Regional Park.
