Rationale:
Education Code 56520 requires districts to provide training for educators to support a safe learning environment. Crisis Prevention Intervention training meets this requirement.  
Budgetary Impact:
The cost, not to exceed $36,324.00, will be paid from of Special Education funding.  
Recommendation
It is recommended the Board of Education approve the consultant agreement between AUSD and Crisis Prevention Institute.
