Rationale:
Interquest Detection Canines will provide contraband inspection services utilizing non-aggressive contraband detection canines at AUSD secondary schools. Interquest Detection Canines is licensed and registered by the U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration, and regional regulatory agencies as required. AUSD has been working with Interquest Detection Canines since 2014.  
Budgetary Impact:
The cost, not to exceed $1,850, will be paid from the General Fund.  
Recommendation
It is recommended the Board of Education approve the agreement between AUSD and Interquest Detection Canines.
