Rationale:
|
LACOE, in accordance with the California Welfare and Institutions Code Section 14132.47(q)(1), is the agency responsible for the administration of the SMAA claims on behalf of the California Department of Health Care Services and the coordination of the SMAA Program for the California County Superintendents Educational Services Association, Local Educational Consortia (LEC) Region 11 and all participating Local Education Agency (LEAs) within LEC Region 11.
Approval of Amendment No. 1 for contract C-20460 will allow LACOE to collect from the LEA a quarterly administrative fee of fifty-five dollars ($55.00) per time study participant certified to participate before the beginning of each quarter by the LEA. The District has participated since 2016.

The cost, not to exceed $55.00 per participant, will be paid from SMAA Fund.
