Rationale:
|
Approximately 200 Azusa High School graduating seniors will attend the all-night Grad Night at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, CA, on Friday, June 2, 2023. Students will be supervised by eight chaperones. Students will leave on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 6:00 pm and will return Saturday, June 3, 2023 by 6:00 am. Transportation will be provided by District approved buses. Permission slips will be sent home for parent approval. Board approval is necessary since the trip requires an extended all-night stay. Azusa High School has been attending Six Flags Grad Night celebrations since 2013.

The cost, approximately $135 per student, will be funded by the students.
