Rationale:
|
As revenue and expenditure projections change, it is necessary to make revisions to the budget. Education Code Sections 42600, 42601, 42602, 42603, and 42610 requires the Board of Education to approve these changes.
|

Budgetary Impact:
|
The 2022-2023 budget was revised to increase Local Control Funding Formula, as well as new allocations for Expanded Learning Opportunity Program, Kitchen Infrastructure Grant, Learning Recovery Block Grant, Special Education, and California Community Schools Partnership Program.
The following funds will increase by:
* General Fund - Unrestricted - $7,377,744
* General Fund - Restricted - $40,636,491
