Rationale:
|
Paramount Elementary School's fourth and fifth grade students will attend Pali Institute Science Camp in Running Springs, California, from April 21 to April 23, 2025. Aligned with the California Next Generation Science State Standards, this trip fosters interpersonal and intrapersonal skills through various activities. Supervised by three Paramount teachers and Pali Institute staff, students will be transported using District-approved transportation. Pali Institute staff will lead the activities. AUSD has worked with Pali Institute Science Camp since 2014. Board of Education approval is required as the trip includes overnight travel.

The cost, not to exceed $435 per student, to be paid from donations, fundraisers, and Parent Teacher Association.
