Rationale:
|
It is a requirement under Education Code Sections 35035(g), 42130 and 42131, as amended by Assembly Bill (AB) 1200 (Chapter 1213/1991), that school districts prepare and submit Interim Financial Reports twice annually to their governing boards. Azusa Unified School District is submitting the 2021-2022 Second Interim report with a positive certification and projects that reserves will meet the minimum 3% for economic uncertainties for the current 2021-2022 and two subsequent years, as required by the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE) and the State of California.
