Rationale:
|
GMS 7th and 8th grade students will have the opportunity to participate in a trip to Washington, D.C. and New York City, with EF Tours, from March 29 - April 2, 2026. The visit is aligned with the California History Social Science Standards and gives students first hand experience of American history. The trip will be supervised by GMS teachers and parents. This will be the second year Azusa Unified School District will be working with EF Tours. Board of Education approval is required as the trip includes overnight travel.

The cost, not to exceed $2,884 per student, to be paid from donations, fundraisers, and Parent Teacher Organization.
