Subject: 12.2 Adoption of Azusa Unified School District (AUSD) 2024-2027 Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP)
Strategic Goals:

Our facilities will be safe, clean, and well-maintained for learning and extra-curricular activities with state-of-the-art technology.
6. Safety and Wellness
To maintain a physically and emotionally safe environment for all, where students and staff feel secure and supported, with access to high-quality nutrition and health and wellness programs.

Rationale: The AUSD 2024-2027 LCAP is based on a review of the District's progress including a needs assessment founded upon the eight state priorities for education. The LCAP includes input from parents, students, bargaining unit leadership, teachers, staff, and community members. The District LCAP Parent Advisory Committee Plus, the District English Learner Advisory Council, and the Board of Education reviewed and provided input on the LCAP. The LCAP Addendum was developed using guidelines established by the federal government and in compliance with the Every Student Succeeds Act. AUSD's LCAP comes to the Board of Education on an annual basis.
