Rationale:
|
ACT will conduct an audit of AUSD's Behavior Support Program through collaboration with AUSD to analyze and determine to what extent behavior services for unduplicated students are effectively accomplishing their goals. ACT will conduct site visits, observations, staff and stakeholder interviews, and a review of the structure and methods of AUSD's Behavior Support Program components. The focus of the work will provide staff professional support in the area of appropriate social-emotional learning environments with tiered behavior supports, including counseling, behavior intervention, research-based training for staff, and assessments. Additionally, an audit will provide an objective analysis and include recommendations.

Cost, not to exceed $50,000, to be paid from Supplemental and Concentration funding (LCAP Goal 1, Action 7).
