Rationale:
|
On July 20, 2021, the Garden Grove Unified School District Board accepted the Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 2010 for the purchase of produce for the Food Services Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP). The RFP specifications and conditions contain provisions to extend the contract for up to a total of three years, one year at a time. Garden Grove Unified School district has opted to extend the contract with no price increase for the first of two extensions. The contract term is from July 1, 2022 through July 20, 2023. As a recipient of the 2022-2023 FFVP grant for Murray Elementary School, Azusa Unified School District will piggyback on this contract. Azusa Unified School District has been working with The Fruit Guys since August 2016.
