Rationale: Working in collaboration with the California Community Schools Partnership Program at Azusa High School, the Pomona Valley American Job Center of California (PV AJCC) will work with students and families to provide workforce training and jobs. The workforce delivery system includes basic career services, individualized career services, training and business services. PV AJCC will help our students find paid internships and jobs while receiving training and support. Both PV AJCC and Azusa High School's California Community Schools Partnership Program are responsible to provide seamless services to meet the varied needs of Azusa High School students and families.
Budgetary Impact: No budgetary impact.
Recommendation: It is recommended the Board of Education approve the MOU between AUSD and PV AJCC.
