Rationale:
|
The CTEIG program is established as a state education, economic, and workforce development initiative with the goal of providing students with the knowledge and skills necessary to transition to employment and postsecondary education. COUSD is the fiscal lead of the Foothill Consortium that includes Azusa, Charter Oak, Duarte, and Monrovia Unified School Districts. COUSD has been assigned the responsibility to acquire, manage and report all uses of grant funds. AUSD must agree to adhere to all terms and conditions set forth in the attached memorandum in order to fully comply with all program eligibility requirements. AUSD has received CTEIG funding since 2016.

Budgetary Impact:

AUSD will receive $294,019 to be utilized as set forth in the attached MOU.

It is recommended the Board of Education approve MOU between AUSD and COUSD for CTEIG.
