Rationale:
|
Carlos Gomez will provide music instruction to AUSD's Mariachi students. The Mariachi after-school program offers music education to students in grades 4-12. Students will acquire the skills to play an instrument, participate in a cultural experience, and participate in various performances for our schools and community. Carlos Gomez will be the director of Mariachi de Azusa. AUSD has been working with Carlos Gomez since 2020.

Budgetary Impact:

The cost, not to exceed $12,540, will be paid from Supplemental and Concentration funds.
