Rationale
:
The District requires testing of suspected hazardous materials for any potential modernization project. Required services include monitoring of activities during the removal of lead, asbestos, and other hazardous materials, then testing for clearance of spaces before occupancy. AUSD has been working with GETC, Inc. since 2015.
Budgetary Impact
:
The cost, not to exceed $44,075, will be paid from Fund 21.
