Rationale:
|
During the 2023-2024 school year, AUSD contracted with Cream Co. LLC to provide raw beef products that were used in scratch cooking meals for the students. Nutrition Services collaborated with Cream Co. LLC and their growing network of family farms on their Beef2 institution pilot program. Cream Co. LLC has met its contractual obligations during the 2023-2024 school year by providing beef products that met the District standards as outlined in the contract. Nutrition Services will renew the contract for a second year. AUSD has been partnering with Cream Co. LLC since August 2023.
