Rationale:
|
The assembly, titled "The Magic of Science", promotes critical thinking, increases science literacy, and enables the next generation of innovators. This hands-on assembly will have workstations that will expose students to high-tech fields of study. Students will have the opportunity to learn about chemistry experiments they can do at home, tricks to solve math problems, magnetism, physics and optical illusions. This assembly will occur on June 2, 2022, and involves Paramount Elementary School's entire second grade class. AUSD has been working with Mobile Ed Productions, Inc. since 2019.

The cost of the assembly, not to exceed $1,195, will be paid from Expanded Learning Opportunities Grant.
