Rationale: The Azusa Unified School District will receive Educator Effectiveness Grant funds that will be used to support professional learning for certificated and classified staff. Funds may be expended during the 2021–22, 2022–23, 2023–24, 2024–25 and 2025–26 fiscal years. As a condition of receiving the funds, districts are required to develop and adopt an expenditure plan. The plan must be presented at a public meeting of the Board of Education before its adoption at a subsequent meeting.
Budgetary Impact: AUSD will receive $2,559,128 in Educator Effectiveness Grant funding.
Recommendation: It is recommended the Board of Education hold a public hearing for the AUSD Educator Effectiveness Grant Expenditure Plan.
