Rationale:
|
The Consultant will assist with closing the financials for 2021-2022 due to the two vacancies in the Accounting Payable division. They will also assist with the Los Angeles County of Education (LACOE) required implementation of the BEST Financial System from PeopleSoft.
These services will ensure that all Fiscal Services Operations are operating effectively and in compliance with State, Federal, and Local regulations as it relates to the Los Angeles County Office closing process and grant reporting requirements.

The cost, not to exceed $28,000, will be paid from the unrestricted General Fund.
