Rationale: As part of our California Education Partners On Track Collaboration work to improve academic outcomes for 9th grade students, a cohort of AUSD 9th grade teachers will participate in a pilot to get ongoing, formative feedback from their students via survey data; learn best practices for using students’ feedback to improve student experience and engagement; and, work in partnership with their students to create engaging and equitable experiences that support academic and social-emotional learning for every student. The Tides Center will provide AUSD with services to support the set up and implementation at Azusa and Gladstone High Schools.
Budgetary Impact: The cost of $8,000 will be paid from supplemental and concentration funding.
