Rationale:
|
AUSD applied for and was awarded the California Adolescent Literacy Initiative (CALIReads) grant. The grant focuses on English Language Arts instruction for Middle School students. NCOE will provide coaching and training for the CALIReads. AUSD first worked with NCOE in 2019.
|
Budgetary Impact:
|
AUSD will receive $25,500 of services and funding for budgeted expenses related to providing training for reading intervention strategies for teachers of middle school students.
|
Recommendation:

It is recommended the Board of Education ratify/approve agreement for services between AUSD and NCOE.
