Rationale:
|
Flutterby Ranch will provide Murray Elementary students instruction on life-cycle, behavior, and conservation of butterflies. Butterflies will be in an enclosed butterfly pavilion brought to the school site. Students will be able to witness the different life stages of a butterfly, learn about pollination, identify native host plants and feed butterflies. This is the first time AUSD has worked with Flutterby Ranch.

The cost, not to exceed $1,500, to be paid from Supplemental and Concentration funds.
