Rationale:
|
The Consultant, Pierre Metellus, DBA 3PM Design Inc, will work with the Director of Nutrition Services to oversee the solicitation of quotes and the selection of a manufacturer to replace three large pieces of equipment at Slauson Central Kitchen, Magnolia Elementary, and Valleydale Elementary. The consultant will provide services for the design and installation of the walk-in freezer replacement at Slauson Central Kitchen, the indoor walk-in refrigerator and freezer replacement at Magnolia Elementary, and the serving line replacement at Valleydale Elementary. The consultant will ensure all replacement equipment meets the required standards of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health and the Division of the State Architect. AUSD has been in partnership with 3PM Design Inc since April 2023.

The cost, not to exceed $15,000, to be paid from Cafeteria Fund.
