Rationale:
|
The District seeks to convert the Lewis Theater into two classroom spaces at Azusa High School.
The amount for the project did not require a formal bid process. Staff received three quotes to ensure that we were completing our due diligence. The contractor with the lowest quote was Junior’s Construction. Though quotes are generally not brought to the Board of Education for approval, this project will be funded with bond funds. As agreed upon during the March 10, 2022, meeting, all items on the approved facilities plans will be brought to the Board of Education for approval.
